Suzanne Larson, Pharm.D. is the Director of Experiential Education at Midwestern University College of Pharmacy in Glendale, Arizona (2011 – present). Larson currently serves as the course director for all Introductory and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences and one didactic course, Introduction to Pharmacy Practice. She has provided over 30 presentations at the national level and over 20 presentations at the local level on various topics related to precepting and experiential learning and has over 20 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Larson serves on the steering committee for the Midwestern University Clinician Educators Program and was one of the original researchers involved in the creation of the Habits of Preceptors Rubric. She is a nationally recognized leader in pharmacy experiential education and preceptor development. She is regularly involved in organizing, facilitating, and teaching various state and local preceptor development workshops. Her interests include preceptor development and quality in experiential education.
