Erin Raney, Pharm.D., FCCP, BCPS, BC-ADM is a Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Midwestern University College of Pharmacy-Glendale (MWU-CPG). Dr. Raney received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arizona and then completed pharmacy practice and ambulatory care specialty residencies at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals in Richmond, Virginia. Her initial faculty appointment with Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy was in the area of community pharmacy practice. She practiced as a clinical pharmacist at Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic providing disease management services in collaboration with family medicine physicians for over 15 years. Her primary didactic teaching responsibilities and clinical interests are in the areas of cardiometabolic disease and women’s health. Her scholarship efforts focus on the enhancement and evaluation of clinical reasoning skills and continuous professional development strategies for students and practicing pharmacists. She is the co-coordinator of the MWU-CPG Student Leadership Development Program and core faculty for the MWU-CPG Clinician Educators Program, a teaching and learning curriculum for pharmacists. She is a member of the American Pharmacists Association, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, American College of Clinical Pharmacy, Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists and the Arizona Pharmacy Association.
