Shelby Albertson, PharmD, BCACP is an Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis, IN. She graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy from Purdue University and completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Eskenazi Health and a PGY2 Ambulatory Care and Academia Pharmacy Residency at Eskenazi Health and Butler University. Her professional interests include primary care, diabetes management, cardiovascular risk reduction, precepting, health equity, and engaging with communities experiencing homelessness. Shelby is a recipient of the Excellence in Public Health Pharmacy Award from the United States Public Health Service and the Walmart Scholars Award from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. She serves as a guest lecturer on topics related to her work with populations experiencing homelessness at both Purdue University and Butler University and acts as a mentor to students and residents at Eskenazi Health. Shelby also enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, and their Bernese Mountain Dog, Gryffin.
